Noel Herbal Skincare, based in Somerville, MA, was founded by Shannon Curtis who has been an esthetician for over 15 years! Shannon and I first connected through a Facebook group where she shared that she had some big dreams for her business, and she was working on learning how to brand and promote her work. I have always been fascinated by branding, and Shannon and I connected over the value of visual imagery when it comes to upleveling the overall perception of small businesses. 

Since then, Noel Herbal Skincare has come a long way and it’s been beautiful to see how Shannon’s skills as an esthetician have blended perfectly with her interest in essential oils and plants to create products and services that benefit the holistic health of her clients. I’m happy to say that Shannon and I both got to benefit from each other's skills! Having gotten to know her and document a real facial and massage she gave one of her clients, I can say she has the most welcoming disposition and her studio space is instantly calming as soon as you walk in! I had the pleasure of experiencing one of her facials myself (my first ever!) and it was incredible. I still remember how relaxing the experience was and how I never felt the slightest bit uncomfortable or self-conscious. For Noel Herbal Skincare, it was important to not only show Shannon’s positive and calming personality, but also how soothing her space is and how beautiful her products are. Having a real client participate in the session receiving a facial and use of Shannon’s products serves as real-life proof of how valuable Noel Herbal Skincare is.
