Charlestown Fashion + Style Photography | Chic Coles, Chapter Two

Melissa and I are at it again! This week's fashion post is a different take on the classic New England style. If you have ever felt like a schlub trying to pull together something semi-presentable to cover your body with for weekend errands while still rubbing the sleep out of your eyes, this outfit inspiration is for you, dear reader!

Cozy, flattering, AND functional, we've got you covered (cue rimshot…) Melissa pulled together this ensemble made up of a Barbour quilted jacket (great for staying warm without looking like a marshmallow), white textured top, and navy Hunter boots (perfect now that much of our Boston snow is melting and turning into puddles). Complete this look with some flattering skinny or boot-cut jeans. Yes, yoga pants are comfy, but my favorite pair of jeans get my brain into go-mode so I can check things off the to-do list and still have time in the day to relax!

Give your eyes a rest from contacts for the weekend with Warby Parker glasses, grab a handbag for all your essentials, top it all off with a long necklace and some earrings, and of course, bring your four-legged friend for your day's adventures! Melissa's dog Kingsley is rambunctiously adorable and kept us moving during this photo session, which I loved, since I have no pets of my own!

PS - To see more style inspiration from Melissa, visit her blog Chic Coles! Even better, if you like the pieces in this style post, you can find links in her blog post on this outfit to order these for yourself! Now go seize that day!
