Sam + FJ | Romantic Mountain Top Inn and Resort Vermont Autumn Wedding | Boston and New England Wedding Photography

Is there anything more romantic than professing your love for your favorite person surrounded by gorgeous mountains? Sam and FJ probably think not! ;)

I was so honored to photograph this drop-dead gorgeous couple and their wedding day last November! You might not even realize this was a late autumn wedding since there was still so much green around—And lots of greenery definitely makes for a happy photographer!

I first met these two in Somerville as all of us have spent lots of time living there, but I absolutely love that they decided to get married in Vermont! They picked the perfect venue—Mountain Top Inn and Resort—Which has the most gorgeous mountain view, indoor and outdoor locations for ceremonies/receptions, and a view of a lake outside as well. Not to mention their staff was super nice and helpful, which goes a long way. I would definitely shoot here multiple times a year if I could!

Sam and FJ planned a beautiful rustic styled wedding, and braved the chilly temperatures like champs. I loved that they made it work with the style of their whole day. Sam wore a classy faux fur wrap, and her bridesmaids were cozy in their color coordinated cardigans and boots!

The photography for their day started with their first look, and believe me, this one was especially heartfelt and teary! It’s obvious how in love these two are! Sam and FJ didn’t even have to try for these photos…they made my job SUPER easy just by being head over heels for each other!

I love some good menswear. That pocketsquare and tie are on point! And is her dress/jewelry/hair/face/everything not absolutely stunning?

I thought it was a sweet touch that they used wildflowers throughout their wedding. They’re lovely and delicate, and I don’t see that as often as you might think. Definitely goes with their rustic theme!

Check out these party people! This was their whole wedding party and they had a blast the entire day. I loved the color coordinated and cozy outfits!

The maple flavored cake and cupcakes were made by a friend. Everyone loved the styling!

This is a great program idea for anyone who’s wedding planning and wants a cute way to share who everyone is in the wedding party, and the story of how you two got together! On the back were all the ceremony details.

I love that FJ walked in with both his parents! Just goes to show that every wedding detail and tradition can be tweaked to suit you and your family!

And on that note, these two were adorable! Instead of having a ringbearer or flower girl, these two brothers came in dropping autumn leaves.

Here come all the feels!

One of my favorite things is when guests or members of the wedding party also sing or play music. Such a special, personal touch for a wedding! Kate Brulé is ridiculously talented, check her out here: https://katebrule.bandcamp.com/

As the ceremony went on, the sun was starting to set and turned the mountainside a bright golden orange!

Once the ceremony was over, I snagged these two to get some quick photos under the most spectacular sunset I’ve seen in a long time.

Then everyone moved inside the Barn for the reception.

I LOVE fun and silly parent dances! These two started out in a traditional slow dance, but didn’t take long to bust out some real moves!

Sam and FJ, your wedding was so fun and full of love, just like you two! I’m honored to have been your photographer, and wish you many many happy years together!
